Wonder if you mounted some good speakers where the pockets are on the lower fairings, could you hear them well? I want some lowers for my bike and want speakers for my mp3 player...... but dont like the upper fairing or the chrome speakers around the handlebars...

Why not buy a set of used HD ones and have them painted your bike color?
I prefer original HD parts whenever I can.Anyway they look good on your bike.

I found them on E Bay. I would do a search on EBay for one of their listing for Lowers . They usually have a couple versions for sale , "vented with and without detach hardware and with or without magnetic glove box doors and non vented".

At the bottom of the listing is contact info and usually a phone number for Andy Song. They usually accept a lower bid then the "buy it now " price and if they are out of stock and ordering that is when I got the deal for $ 350.00 on a pre order , it took about 3 weeks to get them but for $ 350 I got painted , vented lowers with Magnetic doors

Wally,I think I can still read and understand English. The OP explained why he went the knock-off way instead of buying NEW from HD.I was suggesting original HD take-offs (used ones and therefore much cheaper) that would have had a perfect fit and look.

I put a set off the sales site here on my RK standard, love them, saved me from a wet a$$ on two rides so far as the keep all but the sides of my knees out of the rain and road spray. I also have a DCC fairing that completes my 'look'.
