Bike is still under warranty, just wondering if anyone has had this issue.

Coming home yesterday, the Radio started flashing "Disc Error 1" , and "Disc Error 46".

Weird thing is, I never use the CD Player and there was not a CD in the Drive at the time.

When I turn on the ignition switch without starting the bike, I can hear the CD player sounding like it's trying to eject a disc.

I've tried actually putting in a disc and then ejecting it and it works fine, but I am still getting the Disc Error codes.

Anyone?

 

My only suggestion is to look at the "Self Diagnostic" sticky at the top of the first page of this forum; perhaps, there's something there to help you.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Iron Cross Radio for the help, sounds like I've just got a bad CD Drive. Guess I'll just let the dealer handle it.

Did you try removing the master fuse for a while to reboot the radio? Don't remember how long you're supposed to leave the fuse out.
