Default Quick release hard bag mounts

I put my new lower bag bars on and need to adjust the quick release mounts and was wondering how tight I should make the fit. How they are now I have to push down on the bag to get them to line up with the holes. Should they be just resting on the lower bars or should they be snug?

I put the bags on the mounting bar and then adjust the clips and holes to align perfectly. Don't think you should ever have to push to align the holes.

About your avatar, while I understand we all want to die doing what we love best, I would prefer to die as my grandfather did, peacefully in his sleep ..........

If you loosen the mounts to just "snug," and then set the bags in place, and use the pins and a little jiggling to align the mounts. Then carefully take the bags off and tighten the mounts.

Once I did all that, I scribed a mark around the mounts so I knew exactly where to put them if I ever had to take one off.
