2010 Ultra,Best Bike I've ever owned.

Hey Bro's,just got back from 150 mile scoot to Boyce. This bike I'm talking about was a basket case when I first got her. The frame was bent, and had to be replaced, and the transmission case was cracked, and had to be replaced.I never knew this bike was wrecked, and the company that I bought it from, didn't tell me.The first time I rode it was a deadly encounter, because it ran down the road sideway's what A TRIP./ Fortunately the company was in Wisconsin,so I got the dealer to take it to Jamie@Fuel Moto, and he did a 107 build on her,and exhaust, got rid of catalyst on it,and it run's a hell of alot cooler.Let me say Jamie, and the whole group at Fuel Moto,or top of the line in fuel injection, and the setup of it,so I owe alot of thanks to them. It has a power commander V,and I needed 4 maps to get everything right.Jamie sent them right to me,no problem. Have ya'll ever been riding, and everything is just right. The twin is counting them off,and your feeling like you are a part of the machine,it happen's not all the time but when it does, you feel like your going to live forever, and what a special event in a biker's life.I don't want to start a crap storm, because I know that everyone that has a Harley, feel's like I do about his,or her's scoot, and your all right just wanted to pass that along, and it's a great day to ride! Be safe

I have an '08 Ultra. I love the way it rides, and if the gearing was a little lower it would be about perfect. If I change anything about it, it will be the gear ratio.

I hear youi,I compare my 01 FLHT,to this 2010,and the ratio,is better on the 2010.I did a transmission gear change on my 01.It was from a 26 tooth, down to a 24,and the difference was day,and night. If you wanted to do something about that you could in that way,it's so worth it.Something else, you know Honda from the sixties had a super smooth transmission. All you needed the clutch for was just to start off,and to stop. The 2010 is really close to that,I can only imagine how the transmissions, are on the 2012. Also the ABS brake system on the newer Harley's are second to none.I rode a friends BMW,and the stopping was better on the Harley. It's so fine because I had a 1976 AMF shovel FL,and man the motor company, has really done what they had to do,proud to say I have one,can remember a time when that wasn't the case.

Good to see you have the bike riding the way it should. Must have cost some money to get it that way after finding all the problems. Jamie and his group are great to deal with.

Thanks Bro,to tell the truth, that old saying if it's to good to be true then it isn't comes into play. They had a sale price, for that bike @11,466,and it looked good, and book value on a 2010 is 22,500,and all added up I came out about 2500.00,I was real stupid,to buy it,but I just had to hang in.It's a super fine ride now.
