Breaks when it's really hot?
 

Just wondering about something. Yesterday the daughter and I went on a 200+ mile ride (part of which was for a PGR mission), and we took a lot of breaks on the way home. Partly because my back was killing me (don't feel right about using the daughter for a backrest like I do the wife. Daughter is 24 years old). Anyway, the other part was because it was 104 degrees out. The breaks helped us a bunch, but was wondering about others when it's hot out. Do you take more breaks for the bike's sake? To let it cool down some before heading out again? Do you think there's any benefit to letting the motor and wheel bearings, and such, cool down more often on hot days?

Just curious.

YUP. The big challenge is staying hydrated. The wind dries the sweat and you don't realize how much fluid you are losing. Stop often and drink water.

When you do, top up the bike's radiator too. :D

I still can't find that damn thing!

Its hidden under the power steering pump. You can fill it by sticking a hose up the tail pipe.
