Miles on your 107" big bore kits.
I use a good, but very conservative Indy for my major bike work. I am considering having my cylinders bored out to 107" this winter because Momma wants to get the heads / cylinders Diamond Cut. ("Well gee honey, if you really want the Diamond Cut I guess I can get the cylinders and heads done to make it easier...") Anyways my Indy says boring to 107" does not leave enough strength in the cylinders especially at the bottom. he recommends new juggs if I want to go to 107".
I know that many performance shops like Fuel Moto, Drago's and Hillside (to name a few) say there is no issue boring your cylinders to 107". I decided to ask you the folks who actually own bikes with 107" cylinders.
Have you had any problems caused by your cylinders? If not how many miles have you put on since you had the work done?
Thanks for you help....

16,000 miles on my FM 107-'09 RG. It's always run hot, but warmed up quite a bit with the thinner cylinders. I also had some starting issues after the engine heat soaked at fuel stops. (kickback/grinding) Installed the SE compensator which took care of the vast majority of the problem and then the addition of some of Jason's fans (Wards Parts Werks fcs fans) the took care of the rest. Other than these few problems it's been trouble free.
