Default Fullsac headers, I finally did something right for the HEAT

You think your 103 is HOT, you should ride a CVO with the 110 motor.

I got ride of the Catalytic Converter - still HOT
I got it tuned on a dyno - still HOT
I tried V&H's True Duels still HOT

I tried Fullsac X-Pipe Headers - the heat is now under control
(They will use you stock heat shields off your stock pipes)
http://www.fullsac.com/x-pipe.html
I just got them on and I have riden with them for 400 miles in temps up to 90 degress.

It also added 5.2 hp and 10.5 lbs of tq with just a header change .......................sweeeeeeet

Are you saying it added 10.5 lbs of tq over any of the previous headers you installed, including the V&H PD's? If so that is a pretty good gain, the PD's are supposedly a good numbers making header as far as tq numbers go.

I misspoke:
The V&H PD's and the RUSH Ceramic Coated pipes were on my last bike............Neither of which did much to reduce the heat on my SE 103 Stage IV motor.
When I bought my 2012, V&H's hadn't made PD's for 2012 and they had problems with cross reading the O2 sensors on the 2011 bikes.
So that's why I went with the True Duels, so the O2 sensors couldn't cross read.

The 10.5 lbs of tq was over the V&H's True Duels that had been dyno tuned.
I changed headers for heat control, the extra tq was just a nice surprise.

Yes, they will, they'll work with any slip ons.

Any muffler that fits a stock bike will fit.
I am running 4" Rineharts.

FYI:
If you have the "Rinehart Xtreme True Duels" full systyem they are a size all by themselves and fit nothing else.

did you go with the B or C pipe? I'm thinking of getting a set and I keep hearing the C is the best for scavenging and pulse control on the exhaust.
any way its the winter project for this year.
thanks for posting.

I went from True Duels to V&H's Power Duels on my 2009 that I had done a SE 103 Stage IV.
It gained 5 lbs of tq.

The Fullsac on my 110 gained 10.5 lbs of tq, plus reduced the heat.

Fullsac also makes a different header for the 110 than the 103.
I'm pretty sure V&H's uses the same header whether it's a 96, 103 or a 110.
Kinda tells me Fullsac may know something.

Never expected just a header change would get that much. Now it's something I might have to look into.
