ebay hidden antenna that would only pick up one or 2 stations.
china knock-off bags that the lid would only close right on one of them
several seats that sucked
several exhaust/mufflers that sucked (jones full bore mufflers, vh duals...can't think of the others)
cup holder
cat-eye mirrors that fell apart in about 5 miles
numerous thinks from ebay that didn't fit once I got them
Shinko rear tire that lasted about 2000 miles.
not getting a truck-lite LED headlight sooner
cheap slotted heel-toe shifter that rattled like hell
push button locks for police style bags (look cool, but don't latch worth a ****)

BTW: my push button fuel lid has been working great for 2 years. But, now you guys have me worried about it not opening while im on a trip somewhere .... thanks
I think it depends on what push button you have. I put a drag specialties big button in the stock door, never had a problem in 3+ years.

Regrets:
  • Several attempts to get a "better" seat without wanting to spend the money to do it right
  • 4" slip-ons with 3" baffles (OMFG, they were obnoxious)
  • Anything made by Kuryakyn
  • Autotune module for my PC3 (a lot of money with no discernible improvement).
As far as pushbutton gas doors, my stock one works just fine after almost three years.

The half dozen aftermarket windscreens I bought before I settled on the HD 7" tinted screen that I love.
Installing AM fork mounted wind deflectors made it a buffet free zone that looks great.

Sir, As a veteran, I don't care if you design and wear a tattoo that has military overtones. Vets that get offended that you were not a vet need to get over themselves.

ALL Americans support the military either overtly or through taxation. Not everyone is cut out for the service, can get in or has the ability to join due to other issues. I myself can't speak for others, but I do not look down at others whom did not serve. Design that tattoo, have it placed where you wish and they hell with anyone that gives you ****. Tell them to get bent, you do NOT have to answer questions about your ink. I have full sleeves and other tattoos, their meaning is my business. I will describe them if I am in the mood. My ink, my body... no one else has any business worrying about your ink!

As to a father running a Marine Corp seal on a Points cover again, nothing at all wrong in my opinion, many parents are very proud of their kids service. People need to get their own damn lives and quit worrying about others business.
