I've been the "proud owner" of three pieces of Kuryakyn items. One set of mirrors, one set of passenger pegs, and one set of mini-floorboards.
- The mirrors were thin chromed tin bodies that flexed more than my liking, and had flat glass that made rear viewing a challenge.
- The passenger pegs chrome flakes off in spots within one season. I bought these at the same time as the mirrors.
- The miniboards were mounted with Kuryakyn mounts to my crash bar. These were a "gift" from a friend who never mounted them before they traded their bike. It was the supports that not only flaked, I couldn't seem to use enough loctite to keep it tight.

Worst of the worst:
Traded my '15 FLHTCU for a '17 FLTRXS. Then 3 months later I traded the Road
Glide for an '18 FLHTCU instead of getting the dealer to go get the new '16 FLHTCU in
Cosmic Blue that I REALLY wanted which I found online at another dealer.
Would have saved me several thousand dollars and I wouldn't be hunting another dealer.......

The spring hinge on my Kuryakyn pushbutton fuel door broke within two weeks. The folks at Kury were nice enough to send me another spring, but it broke, too. I went back to the stock gas door. Kury used to sell good stuff. But like many companies, I think they outsourced manufacturing and/or cost-reduced designs which compromised quality.

Mine was the wrap around fork led signal lights. They look great when stopped, or at night. But in the day time with a daymaker, they were impossible to see. I have learned that being seen is better than not. I will not be removing lights from my RKS and will probably be adding more.
It's hard to miss a Chinese circus at night! 😁

Regrets:
H
- Not getting a little more info on the S&S 124 LC that only lasted 7500 KILOMETERS [Canadian motorcycle].
- Letting Bellingham HD work on my 120R - It ran going there - they BLEW IT UP
- Not getting the TourPak and exhaust done at delivery when I bought my 2017 FLHXSE.
- Saddlemen IST seat - couldn't stand to ride it for more than 3 hours. Bought a[nother] HD Sundowner while riding through Reno. Mailed the other home.
- Probably could have stuck with the non-CVO. Hindsight sure, but you couldn't have told me at the time.
