You should probably do some reading in your Owners Manual for the correct answer!

lol...recommended vs should vs. want to.....

I change all three holes every 5,000 miles..why not? And I dont run synthetic in the primary...I love my bike...

Everybody has their own time line for doing this stuff usually by mileage. I will answer with what I do and risk being beat up....3500 on oil, transmission and primary once a year. I run no synthetics. Guys that run synthetics have a whole other theory. I do what I want for my own peace of mind.

3-4k on motor, every other motor oil change I do the primary and once a year for the tranny. I use synthetics in the trans, motor and a conventional in the primary...aint blowed up yet. i purposely left out brands because any of the good ones are more than sufficient...find what you feel works for you and be happy and ride. But you asked how often should you change...according to my owners manual 5k for motor 10k for the primary and 20k for the trans.
