First post here hope in right spot. Have 2010 ultra. HK software ver.8.22 when ever I put a cd in I get a dics error 1 and it ejects cd. Dealer scanned today and did not find any trouble errors told me to download latest ver 8.25 and try that. I did not rembember the error 1 at the time as I had not tried a cd for quite awhile and did not have one to try at dealer. If anyone knows what error one means Please answer . Also looking for a list of all the error codes. No luck searching web all I found was the sticky on here on how to push 2 soft keys and turn switch on for Diagnostic Trouble Codes . Thanks for any help Vic

 

I had a similar problem but realized I was burning DVD R discs and not CD R discs the HK player didn't like DVD's with mp3s on it, but it will play cd's with mp3s on them >LOL!
Took me three discs before I twigged! LOL!

 

You must use a CD, not a DVD. The AAS drive reader will not read off a DVD.

Disc error 1 is a no read condition. Kind of vague because there are dozens of causes for a no read error. Most likely a bad CD drive, but an SDRAM defect is also possible.
Updating to 8.25 will not help
