Default sad time, sold my 08 sg, but good news.....

last night, saturday the 27th, i bought a 2013 roadglide ultra in the big blue pearl. after having ridden my sg for several years, i was very happy with it. that new "to me" frame of the 09 and newer models, absolutely rocks. surely some of it comes from the frame mounted fairing on the rg-ultra, but this new bike tracks through the curves really great. i'm still not a fan of abs though. likely i'll just have to get used to the abs brakes not being in direct connect with the pedal or lever like my non abs streetglide was. it was about $3k difference between the rg custom and the rg ultra, but i'm really tickled with my new shark nose. i have a whole 97 miles on it so far, ...hell it still has puppy breath. even though it was 34 degrees last night riding it home from the dealership, 97 miles from my house, it was quite a pleasurable ride. i'd never even sat on a roadglide, but they let me ride a used rg ultra to help me decide, and i was instantly sold. i can see that my rocket III won't be doing much other than collecting dust for a while.

Thumbs up Congrats On The New Ride!

Hey Man, congrats on the new bike!

As an 08 SG owner, you will be interested to know that that the 09 and up SG's do track tremendously also............ Big, long, fast sweepers are no problem anymore.

They finally got it right!

Ride Safe-

-Ray

You're right about that! And they named it Road Glide

Enjoy that the Glide! Now start piling on the miles. The only bike I've ever owned that the more I ride it, the more I want to ride.
