Default Making the switch to apes

I am getting ready to put a set of 12 inch apes on my road king classic. Any suggestions on the best deals out there? Also, for those of you that have done it, what cables wires need to be replaced to make it work?

I hear it can be a pain in the rear to run the wires through the bars.

As always I await the expertise of you fine folks.

Wires are easy, took me about 15 minutes. You will have less wires than me so it would be even easier. + 6 for brake, clutch and throttle cables. The whole job is easy, especially since you don't have a fairing.

Swapping bars really isnt all that difficult but soldering skills certainly make the job easier and less expensive.

This video will give you a good idea whats involved.

Holy cow. If that video is what you need to do to change the bars there is a lot more work involved than I was expecting.
