What is the best prices for stock tires (04 FLHTCI) just looking for stock tires..

I had a place in CO but lost the name and address...

 

When I had my softail, I bought tires from revzilla.com. I could buy a set from there for the same price as one rear tire at my dealer.

 

If you really insist on stock, last I heard you could only get them from a dealer. Lakeshore, Surdyke, and a couple others do 20% off and sometimes free shipping if order is over a certain $.

 

I got a set from www.denniskirk.com delivered cheaper than anywhere else I could find.

 

Were they the actual HD stock tire or a similar size? I don't know what HD tire the OP's bike has but mine takes the D407 and 408 and it can only be found at HD stores. maybe older models are out there on the street. If so check Jake Wilson and a host of others. I just received my Michelin Commander II's from JW. Sitting in the garage waiting for me to put the final 2-3K on the existing tires.

 

American elites are the same tire as a 408 but they don't say Harley Davidson on the side. Jake Wilson was the best price I found and the shipping is fast.

 

Well, what have you found thus far?

 

I know but wanted to try a pair of the Michs this go around. The sidewall cracking occurring on the 407/408 had me concerned that the same process might be on the AE, although I have not heard of any. I did a post a while back asking if anyone had issues of cracking with the AE and there were no answers. maybe no one cared or maybe no one had cracking.

Anyway the 2 Michs I got from JW are in the garage.

 

If you're talking for your 04 FLHTCI, I've found the best price here when picking up tires for my wife's Softail Deluxe. Stock tires should be the Dunlop 402's with Harley Davidson on the sidewalls.

Jake Wilson might have what you want ... but for about the same money you could get the better dunlop e3 .

when i priced them they were cheaper than the stock 402 and a much better tire , i paid $133 for a rear e3 deliverd to my door free shipping .
