I agree with a lot of the above post. One of my biggest pet peaves is them dam brass inserts used in the fairing, the ECU, and pads. The brass into plastic thing is an engineers cheap way out. Put a real nut and bolt or a threaded spot for a bolt. Oh I hate them things. Also I think they should put a user friendly ECU and tuner combo with auto tune, something like a Thundermax.

Stronger crank and better shaft bearings. Lighter weight, better shocks and 4 valve heads. Stretched gas tank and bags, LED tail lights.
No crank should be over 00.3 run-out.

Yea I would go with the tighter tolerance crank, welded. Better USA made bearings. Especially the front wheel! Although I did like the comment about ergonomics of a bike for us guys over 6'. The Harley is just a small riding bike. I have made it work but still am cramped.

I know this isn't design wise on the bike......But I would make the damn clothes for women first off as heavy duty as the guys jackets are.....And second if your gonna make clothes and jackets for tall women ....seriously then make them for "Tall" women. I hate that my gear isn't long enough in the arms. And lets face it our jackets suck azz compared to the guys jackets. Just my 2cents!

Okay here goes: change the oil filter location to make it easier to change, angled valve stems on tires, American made bearings and seals, ship all models without handlebars or seats.....allow customers to try and then assemble bars and seats that actually fit each rider. Use a better clearcoat that does not scratch when you look at it or a mosquito smacks it. Thats it for now.

I would remake a limited edition line of classic throw back bikes including a shovel, pan, and knucklehead engine design. Pretty sure this would be doable and profitable.

Sounds like you guys would hate it if I had control!

I'd kill the sporster as we know it all together and make a hybrid Sportster/vrod sport bike and a cruiser with a vrod motor in a softail type frame!

Finally an idea that requires an engineer. Those attachment points are hideous.

You guys don't need engineers because your ideas aren't new, you need new accountants because the present ones are deleting your suggestions to hold cost.

Really the detachable tour pack should be standard. You shouldn't have to spend 3-400 dollars for that. It is standard on Victory touring bikes.
