Default Which tuner works best?

I currently have the cobra self tuner talked to the dealer yesterday and was told to throw it away its JUNK he said hands down the screaming eagle tuner is the best way to go. Any thoughts? I understand that I can't extend my rpm range with what I have but that's not an issue.

TTS, SERTPRO or PCV are the top 3 tuners in my opinion

I favour the DynoJet Power Vision. There's an excellent sticky on this forum

I say the Harley race tuner any dealership can work with them if you have problems when out on the road.

I had a Terry Component and it died 3 weeks out of warranty. My mechanic recommended going with the SE Race Tuner and I did. He said it was the best. The only draw back that I see with it, when I add cams it will have to be dynoed again.

The dealer will push HD stuff. Check out fuel moto, they have an array to choose from and customer service is outstanding.
I've got the micro tuner but will be trading up to a thundermaxx....have heard only good things

I don't know much about the Cobra, but I imagine lack of support could become an issue. There aren't that many people running them. I running the T-max in my 2010 SG and SE Pro Tuner on my 2012. I chose each of them for seperate reasons. The T-max because, I can "dial it in" peridodically without using 2 "piggy back" systems (i.e. PCV w/Autotune). The SE Pro Tuner because Frank Drago had already created a map for a 120R w/ Prochager.

I have to agree with Loudisbetter that Hd pushes it stuff. That is why I choose my mechanic. He owns his own shop and he still recognizes a good product. Thundermaxx was my second choice. Either way you can not go wrong.

You gonna tune it yourself, use a canned map or have it tuned? Investigate tuners in a comfortable riding radius in your area and see what they use. A good tuner makes all the difference in the world IMO...
