Handlebar riser bolts loose
I have a 2012 Road King and brought it in for the 1000 mile service and mentioned the steering seemed a little strange once in a while with a wiggle during deceleration and I thought maybe it was just street conditions etc, They assured me they check everything on the 1000 mile and go over everything and would check that out. They were done in about 1-1/2 hours and said everything is good and your good to go. Never really felt right so today I was adjusting the bars forward a bit and I happen to put a wrench on the 3/4" (head) riser bolts under and they were both loose. Not finger tight but not much more. supposed to be 30-40 ft pounds I would guess they were 3-5 if that. looking at the service book there are rubber bushings under there and should be an item to check on a regular basis. Anyway, I torqued them and the bike feels like it runs on rails right now. It must just had enough slop in the rubber bushings that it would shake a little under any kind of stress.

nope. I bought it from a dealer about 45 minutes away and they got it from a dealer on the other side of the state for me. The dealer that did the 1000 mile was down the street from me. I'll work on it from here on out. I just figured Id post this just in case it helps someone else.
Yep, nobody cares about your life as much as you do. Can't tell you how many times I've gotten a bike back from a dealer with loose fasteners.
