2009 FLHTCU - No Pre AMP Cables on OEM Radio

Installing a KS125.2BX - http://www.arcaudio.com/product-page...le/ksm1252.asp

With an AMP Built in my OEM Radio, what issue will I have or do you recommend another solution ?

Default Hi level speaker inputs

Arc amp is made to work with the signal from the speaker outputs. See the line where it says high level speaker inputs designed to work with the H.D. head unit speaker outputs. Doesn't need RCA's!:icon_headbang :

I am running the ARC KS125.2 mini on mine now using pre amp outputs installed by Iron Cross Audio. I did have the same amp installed in my 07 using the speaker outs from the radio. There is a plug with wires and a couple of resistors in line that wires to the speaker outs from the radio and plugs into the amp. The button on the face of the amp has to be set for high level, not RCA.

The amp you have can be run with either Speaker wire in, or RCA in. However, running speaker wire in is not as clean as you are getting the distortion from the head unit going into the amplifier. thier are two ways to solve this issue.
1) have Iron Cross install the RCA outs as "marvincbr" did or,
2) pick up a line level converter with a pair of 1foot RCA cords.
Either way you will find a much cleaner sound coming from the amp, which in turn will allow you to turn the amp gain up higher getting more clean power.
