Default Oh, radiators are coming, for sure.

Here is a link which gives a little insight into the new water cooled heads that will more than likely be forthcoming very quickly.
http://www.cycleworld.com/2012/06/12...cooler-waters/
The radiators will be positioned in the lower fairings, one on each side. The frame won't change, nor will the engine. The only changes appear to be the addition of water jackets in the heads and radiators in the lowers. The pictures I have seen at the U.S. Patent Office web site look pretty compelling.

The dealer that I go to confirmed the same thing at a sales meeting. He said when the Road Glide comes out again it will be a wet bike. Didn't come out and say water cooled. So it makes you wonder...

Maybe they won't dry it off after they wash them.

i don't think i'll put any effort into guessing any sort of scenario. they may, they may not, for this, we have no control. i'll not lose any sleep over it one way or another, but thanks for the valid breaking news anyway. like 5 years ago when the rumor got started that honda had bought out harley. turned out it was an april fool's joke after all.

We got confirmation at work the other day, the rumor of no road glide for my 14 is correct. Nothing on water cooling is confirmed, but they are retooling the molds for the fairing. We wil see. I was one whom did not believe the rumor on the road glide especially considering how well they are selling, but it is true

If history is any kind of a teacher, and it definitely is with Harley, the FLTR Road Glide designation may very well be dropped, only to be replaced by something like the Road Glide FLTRUWC.
