Default Anyone buy one of these LED tourpack kits?

Anyone bought/installed one of the eBay LED Wraparound Tail/Brake/Turn Light kits for their tour pack?

See link:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LED-Tail-Bra...3029c8&vxp=mtr

Are they any good? Plug & play? I'm trying to decide if I'm going to stick with the stock set up and switch to all LEDs via the Custom Dynamics Tour Pack kit, or get one these, either from HD or this one from eBay. I like the look and think it would look sweet painted to match my (vivid black) paint. From the looks of the eBay piece, its already gloss black. Its also damn near 1/4 the price of the HD unit, which I would need to have painted.

I saw someone that bought one of those and they look cheap. I just ordered this one, a lot more expensive, but it looks really good.

If I remember right these e-bay units have fitment issues and do not cover the existing holes in the tour pak. Try searching for the thread. Good Luck

Several guys have installed them. Search "cheap ebay tour pak led" or something like that... I've done some reading on them.

I can tell you for sure they are NOT plug and play.

I'm not SURE they will cover the holes on a Tour-Pak that has the corner cutouts for the factory light bar (Ultra-style).

I just put Custom Dynamics on my wifes heritage. Chris at CD could not have been more helpful. I will be putting the LED's in my tourpac on my Ultra when the funds are available. Man those LED's are really bright and you can adjust the amount of blinking patterns you want. Good Luck.

My son bought the Harley set up when he bought his RGU. They were OK at night but a little wimpy for additional daylight attention getters. He finally added the Brightass Lights tail light is now quite happy. I have only the BAL on mine and I am comfortable day or night for keeping folks a little farther back.

Assuming it is the same as the HD unit, it is not an easy installation. Getting the old lights off is a significant task with a lot of caulking/adhesive that needs to be cut and trimmed. You then have to drill several holes (using a template) to secure the new light assembly. It turns out OK, but it's not for the faint of heart.

Cool E-Bay LED wrap around tail light

I installed one of these on my 2011 electraglide classic. It looks great and was easy to connect because I have the Harley Spoiler LED on the tour pack. It is run and brake the same as the E-Bay wrap around, so I just hard wired it to that wire harness in the tour pack. The light did not come with any hardware, but the price is great as long as you do not want turn signals up on the tour pack ! I did not feel a need or that.................johan`
