Default 555's are in!

I had a 2008 96ci Road Glide that has Rush mufflers but Just added woods 555 cams, Stage 1 a/c and the H-D super tuner. Adjustable push rods, Not sure which ones they put in but I think cheap ones.

Im in Iowa and they want too wait for the weather to get better to dyno it and I thank them for that. I hear people are getting 90 t HP with my mods but they told me I will get around 10 HP and maybe 15 TQ. Does that sound about right to people?

I read for a month before I decided on these cams. Im an old fart 56 but If race a buddy I want to give him a good run. They started it for me and Idling at 1400 rpm it sounded so bad ***. When I get it dynoed I will post in the bagger dyno thread.

They are doing the super tuner, 555cams, stage 1 a/c, Push rods and dyno time for 1500. That sound ok? Oh, Inner cam bearings and the stronger oil pump spring.

Now take it easy on me, LOL. Im a Harley Rider to Honda VTX due to house flood back to Harleys and new to the thread. Oh, Let me say its good being back on a Harley also!!!!!!!!!

Good luck with your upgrade

I think that the Dragula or a similar 2-1 will add probably 4-5 HP/TQ too.
I don't think that it is the cams so much.

I think that if I were to change out to the Dragula or similar I would be up 4-5 HP/TQ.
I'm just one of those traditionalists that like the 2-1-2 and as such my numbers are what they are.

97 HP and 103 TQ from 79 and 89 for me. All thanks to Fuel Moto including their dyno tune in Little Chute. I'm riding an 09 96er with SE AC; VH twin slash rounds and FM 2-1-2 headers. Nice set up and almost satisfied, but itchin' for just a little more. I'm prolly gonna run to WI for their 107" this summer but keep my sweet 555's. And welcome to the old fart club! I'm 57!

Looks like u guys have the header pipe and I dont. So is low 80 Hp and maybe around 90 tq about what I will get. And is 1500 about right for all this? and if thats it will I feel much of a difference? The header pipe cant be worth 10 HP can it? I want the duels left on. dont want the 2-1-2 on one side. If my shop says 10 HP I dont see how u guys are getting up in the 90's for HP.

i had woods 555 and a stock header with cheap slip ons. local hd shop dynoed it i had 86 hp and 97 tq in my 07 ultra classic I did mine myself and had 800 in parts including the powercommander 5. dyno tune cost $300 so i had $1100 in mine doing the cams myself. I think that $1500 for everything sounds pretty good.

Two things to say about this Vic.

1. You're gonna feel one hell of a difference!

2. How come I have to come here to find out about this???

I want to thank u guys for the info, Was just a little confused that people are getting up around and over 90 HP with the cams. I just thought if thats the case The H-D shop would b bragging hard on that. They did tell me over 80HP so Im glad to say Our Cedar Rapids H-D shop rocks.

Now to this Brian guy!!! Shouldnt u b selling Harleys and not surfing the Forums LOL.
