I decided a while back that I wanted to put cruise on my '01 RK, which requires that I change out the handlebar switches. I figured that if I have to run new switch wires through the bars I may as well put on the new Avon Heated Grips.

So... after I get everything all internally wired I see that they are supposed to be run on the outside and tie-wrapped or whatever to either cables or the bars. I checked the installed instructions on their website and they mention drilling holes in your bars and some other routing. It's not the same instructions that were in the package though.

Has anyone put these on their ride and wiring it internally? If so, how did you do it? I've requested an RMA but if someone has a solution before Monday I might keep them.
