I'm exploring all kinds of options for my 2013 Road Glide front wheel combo and am looking for real world opinions of people who have ridden them with a 23 and no rake.. I have had numerous SG's with 21's and am looking to do a 23 but not sure what route to take. I am not against doing trees but am not up to cutting the frame. I just don't want the raked look. Anyone have experience????

Pickard's 7* trees look great, handle great, and allow for all the clearance you need to run a 23

 

I think bigger wheels look best with a little more rake. A wide glide comes with a 21 inch front wheel, 34 degrees of rake, and the bike looks balanced and proportional. It's my opinion (and this is all subjective) that a 23 inch front wheel looks best at 36-40 degrees of rake, and minimal stretch.

 

a friend just did the 23" and did rake it , and it looks great i dont think i would do more then 21 on my 11 road glide ,
