Changing rear brake pads 2012 touring w/ABS
A buddy asked for help changing out the rear brake pads on his bike. I've done non-ABS ones before, no big deal, but never messed with an ABS equipped bike. Is there anything I need to know about ABS before I help him out? I haven't looked at my service manual yet, it may address ABS, not sure (my own bike is non ABS).
Can I still crack open the brake fluid reservoir and force the pistons back into the bores with a putty knife or screwdriver prior to pad removal? I don't want to have to bleed them and I damn sure don't want to mess anything up with the ABS controller.
Will I have trouble getting the caliper off the wheel? I know on my '07 it was a bitch trying to get the caliper off with the wheel in place. Will I be able to replace the pads with the caliper still mounted?
Any advice is appreciated.

Same as changing brake pad without ABS. You can change the pads without removing the caliber from the wheel. Only the retaining pad pin has to removed. I've removed mine twice now without removing the caliber. Just make sure you remove the tiny spring clip on that pin first.
