I do my own work and until I get the tuning to where I believe it is as far as I can advance performance, I'll then take it to the dyno.

My new Stainless V&H pipe threw me a curve on my tuning and I'm still trying to get the 2200 to 2600 rpm area tuned properly.

I would like to see the dyno chart when this build is finished.

I called Joe's Cycle Repair in Mechanicville, NY since I plan on having him dyno the bike and he says it's a home run. So I will go with the mods and see what results I get.

call me crazy here.. but you could offset the cost of that motor with an 09 or better used as opposed to a brand spankin new bike. but hey if money is no object why not!

I would not mess with the trans - I had a 131 on my SG do 154 tq and 135hp - the trans held up with no issues countless hole-shots, rolling burnouts and other assorted nonsense - I am down to a S&S 124 with stock trans and Barnett lock up clutch still no issues with the trans.

If so what were the pros and cons? Some suggest the 58MM with the MVA provided heads, others say keep the MVA heads and get the 64MM. I do plan on a dyno after all is said and done. I have heard the pros about a different cam and the 12:1 pistons and maybe a new transmission but I am not $$$ ready at this time although I may explore that option down the road in a few years.
