Default 2013 street glide progressive monotubes

Just installed on my street glide with a 21 front rim. They seem to bottom out when I hit the front brakes or a speed bump.

I followed the directions can not figure out what the problem is. I installed the larger of the two springs for a 1' drop and added 5 oz of fork oil..

Did you install 2 or 3 of the c clips to preoad?

progressive instructions

*Lowering 1” inch or 2” inches?…
- If lowering the fork 1” inch, install one of the long top-out springs
on each Progressive Suspension Monotube cartridge assembly as
shown (see figure 1) AND three of the supplied “C” shaped preload
spacers between the top of the fork spring and the upper spring seat *(see figure 2). Go to next step.
- If lowering the fork 2” inches, install one long top-out spring AND
one short top-out spring on each Progressive Suspension Monotube
cartridge assembly as shown (see figure 1) – and install NO preload nspacers. Go to next step.
After installing the proper combination of supplied top out

I have 2 c clips in my bike but Im running at stock height and works great ,Im 210lbs

I dont know then, you should have plenty of preload. Do they feel soft? I had heard when they first came out about some people having problems with them loosing their gas charge. Thats one of the reasons ive thought about going back to oil dampening system using Race Tech or Ricor because any gas pressurized cartridge can loose its charge

Check to be sure its the forks bottoming and not the engine guard hitting the fender...

You could do a variation of the zip tie method for shock travel to see. Get something like a small bungee and wrap it around the fork tube just below the cow bell go for a ride and see how far it is pushed down the fork leg. It may not be the forks bottoming ...

Unless you have a bad set of monotubes,

Im about 210lbs and when I sit on the bike I get less than 1" sag, unless I drop off a curb I dont think Ive ever bottomed , especially not by braking

Fender is not on .Ill double check that it is the forks hitting bottom.
