Default Home made tour pak and backrest mount

Here are some pics of my wall mounted tour pak mount, it was a piece of cake to make. I plan to use some hose over the bars and slice some hose in half and put on the diamond plate edge to act as bumpers.

I drilled and tapped the 1/2 inch rods, for those that dont have access to a lathe u could use 1/2 inch threaded rod.

That is nice, and I bet the materials were pretty affordable too. I bought one off ebay last week that was about $80 with shipping.

Very affordable, free scrap laying around at work. But if it was to be done with plain sheet steel and all thread i bet it would be less that 25 in materials.

Nice! Wish I was a bit more creative and had the tools/resources to make these things. I've cringe when I think about the amount of $ I've spent on stuff I probably could have made myself.
