The bracket that mounts it to the seat can be purchased there also for an additional 70.00. It needs to be slightly modified because it doesn't quite work in the stock configuration but 2 drilled holes on the bracket fix that.
I have the seat rail and the mounting kit, but no solo po po seat for it yet. I always wanted to seat it mounted on a po po seat, looks good.

I did see this past weekend, a guy who had a '95 EG with the seat rail attached to a frame mounted seat. Apparently Corbin-Gentry only made it for one or two years for mid '90's. See attached pic, I like the way it mounts, especially with the old school three channel luggage rack.

I'm slightly confused as to why that seat wouldn't fit later FLH frames up until at least 2008. I thought all FLH frames from 1980-2007 were essentially the same.

And yes, this seat rail is ALMOST the same as the one you can buy from J&P, a little smaller and narrower.

The ultimate Seat Rail post;

Funny the differences in the Bubba's seat/rail kit and the Legend's kit. Mmmm. Notice the differences in the rail first off, price is a joke honestly. Seat rail runs about $80 out of J&P, a good leather solo is about $300, so where's the other $200-300 coming from???

Also, V-Twin makes a solo seat mounting kit, which allegedly can have a Buddy seat mounted to it also, I'm kind of interested to see how that would look on a newer FLH.

Corbin, also makes a seat rail.

And now we're seeing the police seat conversions with the rail, pretty bad ***.

Lastly, there is a guy that was/is on this forum that makes a pretty decent rail. I emailed him a few months back, he said he was making a few more sets and would email me when ready...there are pics of it, some many odd pages back.

Navy gunner, Do you have any pics with the passenger seat installed?

I just bought a police seat on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT. How difficult will this be to install? I'm not too mechanically inclined, but not afraid to try. The seat appears to float. Does it sit on springs?

Default checkbook

When you figure that out, the getting her to let loose of the checkbook part, I'll pay cash money for that secret!

Ride safe.

Hey now, just picked up a police air-ride solo seat for my 2005 HD FLHRCI for $100 from local bike shop down town and I also ordered the seat rail from J&P Cycles for $90 , the luggage rack for the rear fender from Dennis Kirk for $50. Now all I need to get is the rear matching textured seat from Dennis Kirk for $178 and I'll be set. Thank you all for your post and picture of your bikes they all look great and trying to get my classic to be a classic. Will post picture as soon as I get everything together. Thanks.

NSU Motorenwerke AG, (normally just NSU), was a German manufacturer of cars, motorcycles and pedal cycles, which was founded in 1873. It was acquired by Volkswagen Group in 1969. VW merged the company with Auto Union, to eventually evolve into Audi as it is known today.
