Default Michelin Commander II or Dunlop Elite 3

I'm looking to change out the stock Dunlops off my CVO Ultra prior to my trip at the end of the month. I've looked through a lot of the tire threads and narrowed down to the beforemention tires. So for those that have had one or the other or both what are the pros and cons.

I have well over 10,000 on a set of E-3's and lots of tread left. The only down side are the tar snakes on the road. Very slippery with E-3's. Extra care needed in the curves.

The slippage is it as bad as the stock Dunlops?

I found the opposite about E3s and tar snakes. Way better than the 402s I had on my 07 Ultra.

E3 are a very big improvement over the stock 402. Im partial to the Dunlops.

Based on all the positive reports I have seen on the Commander II's, I just ordered a set to put on before our trip to the 110th. Hope they live up to the hype.

+1 for the Michelin's. I would recommend these tires even if they didn't get better mileage. These tires have been a great improvement in handling. I have almost 3000 miles on them and they still look new.
