Default Need help from Florida Crew

We are down here in the Ft. Lauderdale are and I have a couple of questions:

1. Is the Tamiami trail a good bike road? We want to ride over to Naples and go a more scenic way.

2. I may need to have my Thundermax reflashed. Is there anyone in the area that could do this?

Thanks for your help in advance

Trail or alligator ally are your choices. Re flash no help.

Alligator alley is a straight shot with little variation in scenery. Miles of swamp, and the occasional alligator sighting. If an accident shuts down your travel side you will sit for hours in unbelievable heat. There is a nice little nature type exhibit on the eastern end and westbounders can stop at the Seminole Indian truck stop. I have never been on the trail across the tip of Florida, but I would guess it would be a fine example of old Florida, but with minimal services

You might have gotten better response if you had posted this in the regional section....under "Florida Crew".
I live near daytona, and am not familiar with the area you questioned.

Neither the trail or A. Alley are especially nice, but there really is no other choice. Can't help with the tuner question.

Yea, we did that a few years back. We rode down the west coast from Tampa (mistake) and on to Naples. From there we rode the old original Alligator Alley (US 41) and really enjoyed it. We rode all the way to Key West. Would like to do that again except I would likely take I75 down to Ft. Myers.
What a trip from TN in February.
