I know there are plenty of cool wheel companies out there to pick from, but does anyone simply sell a basic 40 spoke 3.25 rim for a 2012 Street Glide? I was able to buy these wheels fairly inexpensive for my Heritage, but not sure about the touring-type bikes. Any/all suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jef

This is the part that gets me. I can buy 4 VERY, VERY nice custom wheels for my truck for <$2K but for my SG it's going to cost almost that much for only 2 wheels. I don't understand it.

I get it! I put a very clean 21 on my heritage and paid under $200 for it. May be impossible to do on the SG?

From all the wheels I've looked @, <$200 is far from happenin'!!! It's not a supply/demand thing. It's not that it takes more product(steel, aluminum, etc.) to make bike wheels. It's not harder to make bike wheels. I can only guess it's considered to be an accessory to a 'luxury' item. If you can't tell it kinda pisses me off!!! Thread hijack over. Sorry.

I realize that price is impossible. Just like to know if a plain 40 spoke is possible?
Landmark makes great wheels, but they ain't cheap. If price is the criteria, call Jireh. They advertize 40 spoke wheels for well under $200. You can bet they are chinese, but they are cheap.
