Trip review of 2014 Ultra Limited

Damn you flyingace. I was perfectly happy with my Roadking until I read your review of the 09 Streetglide in Aug 08 and next thing I knew I owned an 09 Streetglide. Still a great bike but with 48,000 miles it might be time. No matter, let's get this straight right now - screw you and this thread.
J/K great bike and nice review. Will practice my will power and wait til the 2015's are out - I hope.

Hehehe, Sorry?

For reference, My 09 SG roasts my passengers right leg as well. My 10 RGC did the same. Both were tuned... Oh well. We'll live.
That front end looks incredible man. That red with the vent just looks awesome. Reminds me of an American Muscle car.
Really like the redesign. I'll be in the market one day!

KlockWerks Ergo Back.
No cable or wiring changes needed, just like when I put them on my 09. They did have to re-route a few bits of the wiring bundle inside the fairing a bit, but no big whoop. I was the first 14 that my dealer had swapped bars on. (was sweating bullets attempting that the day before our trip) Only diff is on the 09, I WOULD have been able to rotate them forward/up a bit more than on the 14, had I wanted to. Was able to get them back to the same position I had them on my 09, but they are pretty maxed out as far as forward/up on the 14 due to the changes in the inner fairing. Got them right were I want em, but had I wanted to go more, would not have been able to.

Did the Mustang seat come off your 09, or was it a new one for the 14? I have a heated Harley Hammock seated on my 2012 Limited. I noticed the part numbers in the 2014 parts catalog are different for the 2009-13 and the 2014. Would like to get a 2014 and be able to use the seat and backrest I just bought last spring for the 2012.

Dunno about the hammock. Take it down to the dealer and see if it fits? Maybe its the wiring for the heating that changed? Cant help you on that one, sorry.
