2003 ultra classic Gauges and running lights not working
I have a 2003 Ultra Classic. My gauges, running lights and neutral indicator lights are not working. The radio and speedometer work fine. does anyone know what could cause this?? I checked the fuses and all connections under the fairing and could not find the problem. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

When you say running lights, do you mean the gauge lights? The gauges, gauge lights, and Neutral switch all run to the same fuse (Instruments). Check the fuse again. Test it with a multimeter, or replace with another fuse. If it's not the fuse, you lost a ground, or there could be a problem with your ignition switch.

I mean the running lights on rear of motorcycle and the running light on my front fender. Speedometer and speedometer light work fine ,,, Head light and blinkers work fine. The gauges and lights do not work ... Funny thing is after i start riding the bike ...... they all start working again after several miles or 10 minutes usually the Gauges and light come on and running lights on motorcycle turn on. I am puzzled , sounds like a loose ground...

So the bike had a low battery from sitting, And since the volt gauge is not working, I had a charger on it and when running it is putting out 14 volts. So it is charging just fine. Is there something else in the stator that can go bad and cause that

With mine everything was working fine when I parked the bike a few months ago then after the bike sat for the summer, I had the issue. Yes in Florida the bike SITS in the summer and comes out in the fall, lol!
I think my stator is OK, rode 3 hours yesterday during the day of coarse and had no issues except for those in the original post, no gauges or taillight.
