Service manual

I have a service manual that I bought for my 2012 ultra limited, now I have a 2014 limited. Are they so different that I need a new manual?

With the number of major changes introduced with your lovely new bike I would have thought the answer is pretty obvious! You may well find that there are things on the two that are identical, but the day you look up something and find it isn't the same as your bike will be the day you want the real thing. I am sure there will be a member happy to buy your 2012 book.

With the changes to the fairing, cooling, lighting etc, I'd get the new one. It's a small investment, especially if you are planning on doing a lot of the work yourself down the road.

Or the CAN-BUS electric system.

so what we are getting at is you won't know what has changed...until it is too late.

sell your 2012 for 1/2 price and get a new book.

unless you are just doing oil changes.

if you have never cracked the drive section or the wiring diagrams, maybe you don't need.

Sell the 2012 manual on here....you'll likely get good dollars for it. Then buy the 2014 manual.
