"Cams Only" Upgrade: SE-255 or Wood TW-555?
While I'm very happy with my current Stage 1 upgrade, I MAY (operative word MAY) decide to install performance cams sometime down the road. IF I go that route, I want to do a "cams only" upgrade, and have that be the end of it (see my sig for current setup).
Question 1: Are the SE-255 and Wood TW-555 good options for me?
Question 2: How are the SE-255 and TW-555 cams similar/different?
I know that I'll have to move away from my XiED's with a cam upgrade, so which fuel management system is the easiest to install and the simplest to use, for a layperson?
Thanks for your insights, guys.

The SE 255 cams are good with stock compression while the 555 likes about 10:2-10:5 compression. There are other cams for a 96 inch. Contact Scott at Hillsidecycles. The TTS system is a good bet for tuning made easier with the new Flight Recorder program.

If you are willing to pay for a Woods cam then the best option is a TW-222 if you are considering a SE255. The 222 will produce more torque for a longer range and more horsepower because of its longer duration.
As said already the 555 in a stock motor on a bagger will feel almost no different that what it does now till you hit 3200 rpm then it will pull. Just not a low end torque cam with stock compression.
I am a low rpm torque guy, and I have yet to find a better low end torque cam for a stock engine setup with better support from vendor (FuelMoto) than the Woods TW-222 combined with a Power Vision tuner and supplied map. Once I install this setup and then Autotune Basic with it, it is good to go. Very simple setup and saves money.
It also is easy to change in the future if you decide to do more to the engine.
