Well, the shop ordered a new neck and cap for the reservoir, it should be in next week. In the mean time they topped it off and said it might happen again but it would be alright to ride it home from wherever if it does. I've read somewhere on here that I could roll on the throttle after it's shut down and it would turn the fans off to cool it down, does that work and how exactly?
After all the bragging I did about my 2014 limited and how I was tired of hearing about all the so called puking issues...guess what...she's in the garage sitting in a puddle.

You mean turn the fans on. I'm sure it's described in your owner's manual.

It's not on the manual. It's a service procedure.
Shut the bike off with the kill switch. Leave the ignition on. Roll the throttle past 50% and hold it for a few seconds until the fans come on. Release the throttle. The fans will stay on until you do the throttle thing again or shut off the ignition.
You really shouldn't have to do this. It will help but its just masking the problem your bike is having not being able to hold pressure.
There have been a variety of issues that seem to be causing this to happen to some bikes. Bad filler necks. Bad caps. Cracked thermostats housings. And what IMHO is the prime cause. Improper bleeding of the system on setup.
There are already several threads here discussing leaking 2014's.
I've had it for 1.5 months and she had 1660 miles before she bled. Yeah I meant "turn the fans on" and i just want to do this until the parts come in, hopefully not after.
