Default NEW 2014 FLHTK or keep the 2012??

Here's the deal, I can't make my mind up. I was offered $22K trade for my 2012 FHLTK as is with 13K miles and aprrox. $4K + of upgrades I have already done.
I owe $26250 on the 2012. Dealer is offering to Sell me a 2014 FLHTK two-tone for $26,800... I know I will be backwards and then have to put out another $ 2K at a minimum to get the bik where I want it. Need all input.. Thank you

I would keep the 2012 until 2015 or at least until the 2015s come out see how they fix the coolant leak issues.I have a 2013 I bought a few months before the 14s came out I was a little pissed until I saw the issues they were having with the 14s.

Only you can make that decision, 2014's are awesome, but I'm keeping my 2012. It's been a great bike and I've got it just the way I want it.

It's your final decision, but because you asked, I feel you would be crazy to take that much of a hit on your 2012.

Talldog... That's what is making this a harder decision.. I can ride my 2012 like a sport bike, have no handling problems. The upgrades I did with my stereo sounds better than the 2014.. I have a Zumo 550 on the 2012. Just put on a heated hammock seat.. huge improvement over the stock seat. How really cares about he water cooled heads.. Harley's have been running hot for 110 yrs. Hydraulic clutch may be nice. The one thing I do like on the 2014's is the saddle bag latch and the larger tour pack.

How the hell do I add a picture?

I traded my 2012 for the 2014 and I am not the least bit sorry I did . Given your debt level seems like a no brainer but I would pay some down before adding shiney stuff but thats just me. "You are only going by this way once;this is not a dress rehearsal"

So you're going to lose 6 grand for a slightly larger tour pak and a different style saddlebag latch?

Why not buy the new style tour pak and saddlebags, have them painted, and install them on your 2012 and save a ton of money?

I traded my 12 for a 14 and will not look back, the 14 is much better and the resale on earlier will drop once the glitches are all fixed. I mod all my bikes and this one needs the least amount to "make it right". i only put slip ons and rode it 1500 miles and happy with it. Mike

I knew the '14s were coming out in a month or so when I bought my '12 but $20,400 and only 1900 miles on it made it a no brainer as to which one I should get. I guess now I'm old school

I would wait until the bugs are worked out if I were you. I would never buy a year 1 anything but that's just me.

I was facing the same issues, however I have decided to wait till the 2015 models appear, usually the first year models have some kinks that need to be worked out, so its best to wait till HD finally gets them done RIGHT! I have over 9k invested on my SG and its a 110 as well...
