Burkes repo outlet
#3
I live about 15 miles from there. Been there a few times, most if not all of his stuff is repo bought from finance center auctions. He does inspect everything well, and stands behind everything that he sells. Seems like a pretty good guy to me, as well. I just prefer to buy direct from a private seller

Yeah its a tough call for me.. It is a 8hr drive for me but if the bikes are clean no doubt it's worth the $4000 difference from the next cheapest dealer..
I've talked with another local small dealer and he says he gets his bikes from the same auction that all the big dealers get them from.. And he said 90% of the bikes there are repo's.. I like this guy and would love to deal with him but $4 grand is alot of money...
I think I'll keep waiting for a bit... winter months are coming and who know's what's obama care is going to do to people..

The skinny on burkes repo
I'm one of the drivers that delivers bikes to burkes repo. The bikes I deliver come from npa and they are in EXCELLENT condition. The auctions go over them from frount to back and detail them. Some come from Harley rental. Every bike I have delivered to them look just about new. I know from delivering to other dealers they are one of the best on prices.. the bikes are in good mechanical shape as well. I know for a fact they don't buy junk
