Default Leather Lever covers w/fringe

I am doing some mods to get that old skool classic look.

Anyone using either these? How is the quality?

Kuryakyn Iron Braided levers:

or Moto Leather covers?

I have never had any luck with fringe on levers. The wind pulls them enough to turn stoplights and clutch safety on?

Default Go To Captain Itch!

I've got the ones from Captain Itch, a sponsor on here. I can't comment on the Kuryakin ones (no experience) but I will tell you that you won't find a higher quality leather product ANYWHERE, more the the Captains! They've been hanging from my levers for 3 years now and look as good as the day I bought them.

While you're there, check out his Crotch Coolers. Another fantastic product!

Iron braid are the best out there.
I have had them on multiple bikes and the quality will amaze you. They are custom braided and you can pick from multiple color combinations. Money well spent. I have them on my current ride

Yup, I have the Iron Braid levers with fringe. They look the same as when I put them on 4 years ago. Good product.

Wow folks still actually use "fringe" on their sleds

That's exactly why I want them! - Old Skool.

I am also looking into saddlebag rail fringe. Not too sure about that though, If I can score a deal, I will get them too. I want the HD ones that were discontinued. but $230 is a bit steep IMO. Local dealer has some in stock, but they want deal on 'em.

That's good to hear, these are what are most appealing to me. Thinking about the Blue/Black combo.

Iron Braid

Liked them, wore very well, never had an issue with clutch or brake switches

Plus their menu options lets you create many different configurations of style color and length

I like the color matched fringe look on the levers

I was JUST eyeballing the Iron Braid stuff last week. not a fringe guy, but I like the look of the braids and I was afraid that the fringe would show its age in a short period of time.
