RG or EG best windsheild.
 

If they are both stock windshield and fairing which bike keeps most off of you RG or EG? I have an 07 RG and like the looks and feel of the RG fairing much better but on demo rides i thought the RG had more turblance around me. What do you think?

I've owned two RoadGlides and one FLHTCUI. The RG is the bike for me. Turbulence is not a factor for me.....since the stock windshield height is about right, but I like the Clearview GT Medium much better. I also have a lower fairing which keeps the air going around and not up. Some tall riders complain about the turbulence......but it is manageable with modification.
I know lots of riders that change the windshield on the ElectraGlides to suit them.

Buy the model you like the best and work with it to suit you.

I did get the 07RG although I thought it had a lot of turblance. It is not bad and I donot like the EG faring . It seems to set to close to me. I ordered lowers for RG the came with no glove box. Sent them back. To get box is all most twice price of EG farings which come with boxs.

Ive had both type bikes and road glide does better to me.

I picked up the lowers and glove boxes for my '05 RG on Ebay and had them freshly painted. Total for everything was $590 pieces, shipping, painting , etc. You can do better if your bike is black.

Lowers make a big difference re: turbulence. It's the air from above mixing with the air comming up around the tank that bangs your head. My vision would even blur at certain speeds before I got the lowers.

QT of mirage orange that is tri coat cost nearley 300.00. I just ordered one to paint the rear facia of a SG for my RG.
