Default Wheel/Tire Size

What is the largest wheel/Tire combo width you can run on a 2008 Street glide? Stock is a130 on a 3.5"wheel I think.

On the rear is an 18x4.25 with a 150/70/18, on the front without changes a 21x3.5.

Thanks for the reply. Is a 4.25"width wheel common?

Some Harley models have 4.5" wide rims, but 4.25" is a common aftermarket width (check Hogpro's website!).

Your stock wheels are both 3" wide AFAIK and the limits on the rear wheel width are internal fender width and clearance between tyre and belt. A 150mm tyre will go in, but any wider requires surgery!

18x4.25 is a wheel size made by all major wheel manufacturers, yes it is a very common size.

u can get a 160 e3 on it BUT...that tire is made for a 3.5 inch wheel, your stock 3 inch wheel pulls in the sidewalls just enough to fit,it may require a tiny belt guard trim.

I won't mount a 160 on a 3 or 3.5" rim and i think the 160 is too wide for that bagger.
