Thanks for the links to those technical forum documents. They show a bunch of changes in 2011 and 2012, but none in 2013 for the SG except how the tranny oil is checked.
Here are the weights from the brochures:
2012 dry: 785 running order: 822
2013 dry: 783 running order: 811
the only thing that i see changed is the oil cooler adapter. i didn't see anything else, even after working on one. don't know why the weight difference. now i want to know.
What changed with the oil cooler adapter?

The tire sizes are shown as the same. What changed with wheel size, and what changed with the suspension?
My brother and I have a 12 and a 13, there is no difference in suspension or tire and wheel size. Both came with air shocks.
Cant tell the difference between the two when working on them.
Yep, that is correct. And they are both 103s, so it can't be the oil cooler. I can't see the adapter making a difference. I wonder if they are just catching up from the 103 changes.
Hi All
Long story short, I rode a Honda F6b last year and never had so much fun on a bike. Im a Harley guy, so I moved on. I had been thinking about trading my 09 SG in for a 2014, but prices have shutdown that idea. So Im seriously considering a 120 engine for my SG to get near that F6b fun factor.
My 09 is completely stock, so Im wondering what is a realistic cost to put in a 120?
Ive heard they get pretty hot, is that a real problem and would fans fix it. Riding in 98 degrees is typical in Oklahoma.
Of what Ive read here, most riders seem happy with their 120s, any advice to save me frustration?
