Default Do apes provide pullback?

I would like to know if ape hangers (12inch) will place my hands closer to my body than stock. I have had 2+2 Khrome Werks Sweeper bars in the past. They were pretty good. A little wider than I would like, and felt like I needed just a little more pullback but the height was ok.
So my question is, how much pullback do apes provide if any at all?

Most have the bars straight with the forks. Looks better. Is it really?
Since the bars are taller then you can pull them toward easy.
A 1/4 inch at the base will = close to a inch more pull back I would think.
I love my ape hangers.

In other words about it will give you more if adjusted to your liking.

You can rotate them back toward you to get the proper distance.

Usually the description from the manufacturer will detail the amount of pullback, don't automatically assume your getting what your after. If you take a measurement from where you want your hands to the bar clamp area you will get a better idea how much pullback you will need . I used a broom handle to position my hands where I need them and had the Mrs take the measurement. I needed 22" of pullback for my wife's FXDC to get it where she needed it. As extreme as that sounds, I was able to get it with a 14" bar pulled closer to the rider. It doesn't follow the lines of the fork but its not hideous by any means.

Pulling them back messes with wrist angle, usually in a bad way.

Check the specs on the manufacturers websites. The pullback varies not only between manufacturers but also varies depending on the height of the bars (12", 14", 16", etc.) and type of bar (go look at Wild 1 or Carlini's websites to get examples).

Do it right, check out www.helibars.com

A little pricey, but you only have to buy 1 set.

Pull back is adjustable, but more importantly, wrist angle is adjustable.

Just my 2 cents.
