Road King... Question...
Looking at the Tall Boys website, they describe their product as: "moving the boards downward in the heal 2 ½ inches". Now that you have them installed, do you know what the heck that means? I hate to guess, but it almost sounds like they lower the board in the rear 2 1/2 inches, but yours don't look like that. I guess I don't know what, or where, a "heal" is.
I am very interested in this setup and appreciate your posting the info. At 6'6" my knees are at the top of my tank. I just wish their product wasn't so expensive, but it could be the answer to several issues of mine.
Thanks.

If they only lower the rear of the floor board I'm not sure that would help since I usually keep my heel on the front part of the floorboard.....or is the entire board lowered in the front and back?

I got the 1" extended old school style footboards from Harley P&A...mounted the Kuryakyn Cruise Pegs from my previous Harley on them...had to do a little modification and laid a 1" bead on the mounts, no biggie...VERY satisfied... $79.95 for the boards, but I had to also buy the rubber inserts, but it wasn't $199.95...in the process, got ride of those stupid original swept footboards.

wooly's pics clearly show the floorboard is lowered in the rear and not the front. Those don't help for those that rest our heels on the front of floorboard. If the board was lowered the same front and back then I would consider.

I assure you they are lowered front and back and almost have the same slope as original. If you look close at the front of the floorboard and compare to your floorboard it will sit almost level with bottom of the crash bar mount. Both mounting brackets lower the floorboards. Not just the rear. I will take some close up pics of the front mounting bracket this evening while holding the original and you will see a difference.

Even at 6'1" I'm interested and subscribed to this thread.

My other bike, a rigid sporty with a wide glide front end, has forwards. I need to lower my knees on the RK.
