What about that setup didn't work? Do you mean physically it would not work, or for riding comfort it didn't work?
As I recall the bolt patterns wouldn't fit together just right. I bought a generic 1" out extension off ebay and it worked just fine. Included is the best pic I currently have of the brake lever side.

I think you are right. I have a set of 1" out and 1" forward that are new in the box here. I do not plan to use them. paid $79.99.

will sell them if anyone is interested in them.

Im also interested in this...

Looks like you have to pull your foot back to get it out from under foot brake now.. Do you notice that when riding.. Or do we need to extend the brake out also? Any difference on shifter side? Heal shift still work ok?
Looks like you would have to get use to it

I have PM extended levers, the only thing I notice now, is that my heal never contacts the rear part of the board. Plus my toes always hang over the front.

I dont think the foot position will be that much different as much as all of the the foot will be on the board.

I installed an extended shifter, but have since removed and re-installed the original heel toe shifters. they work fine.

I also installed the Kury extended brake lever, it works great.
