Default Red key light on and it won't start

Well I just picked my bike up from the dealer had a service and the pbr300x2 installed. Drove home about 60 miles. Turned it off to move something out of the way to pull the bike in and it's dead. Checked all the fuses and connections. When I turn the ignition to on a red key light comes on. Disconnected the battery for 5 minutes no go. The blinkers don't work either. When I turn switch to run the fuel pump doesn't kick on. This sucks that this is my start to the season. Uhhg

The red key indicator is for the security system, isn't it? Key fob close at hand, fob battery good? Search this site for how to disable it with a code. I've seen a few threads on the subject, but since I don't have security on mine, I didn't pay close attention...

Battery in the fob as mentioned above or placement of the fob. I put the smart siren 2 on mine and I have to have the fob in my jacket pocket for it to recognize it. Had it in my front pants pocket and it is hit or miss. Kind of embarrassing when you get on the bike and get it upright and the alarm is blaring. Have to find the fob and magically wave it around the bike until it shuts off. I still would like to know where the sensor is that detects the fob so I don't look like a complete idiot when this happens.

No security on the bike. No key fob. I wish it was that simple. I am driving around now trying to get some relays. This blows.

Yes when I turn it on the yellow engine light doesn't come on and you don't hear the fuel pump just the red key light and the oil light comes on.
