Pulled old sliders off and removed seals, installed new lower chrome fork sliders. Slid new seals down tubes, seated with pvc pipe and replaced wire snap ring thing. Filled one fork with fluid easly, other fork had to use a turkey baster because it was different than first fork. After fluid replaced top fork bolt. Is it that easy?!
Absolutely...... Now go put your front end through the paces...... I rode down a horrible street in my town, nailing the front brakes to the point of smushing the front tire to check for leaks...... I was worried like you, but have zero problems!
I thought the same thing. Went together so easy I thought for sure I did something wrong. Bike is still on the lift but a test ride is in order this week.
