Default Best way to raise the Handlebars

What is the best way to raise the handlebars up on my Ultra, 1.5 to 2 inches? Do they make a riser that works or do I need to order a set of bars? Will the stock cables work or do I custom cables?

Risers no worky with a fairing bike. Have to buy a set of bars. I prefer the Khromewerks 2+2's but there are others that will do what you are trying to achieve. You would want a new clutch cable and possibly brake, depending.

I went with the HD 2 inch Pull Back Bars. It solved all my problems for hands going numb and upper back pain from reaching to far forward.

I did it myself because the dealer wanted 7 to 8 hours of labor. They say you can use the stock clutch & brake cable but I found that you only need the extended length clutch cable.

if you haven't yet, try rotating the bars to find a more comfy position.

ign. switch and lower dash panel off

big thick towel over the tank

loosen the 2 pinch bolts for the clamps

and rotate the bars

if you find a more comfy position, lock it down.

ensure that you have at least 3/8" clearance between controls and tank at full lock

if you decide to loosen or remove the controls at any time, you want to refer to the manual. a shim needs to be used or the front brake light switch will break
