K&N oil filter... stuck! now what?

I've used the "pound the screwdriver through" trick before and it worked well.
This after a service from harley Davidson STEALERSHIP!!!!!

Check out this 3 jawed oil filter wrench. I'm sure you could find one locally.

Got this one at my dealer... Put a socket on the nut, as you turn the ratchet, the claws grip tighter - no filter too tight to beat it.

Just had that happen on my softail. Put a set of 460 channel locks on it right by the base of the filter. There isn't much room to turn it, but I managed to inch it off a little at a time. Tried the strap wrench too... Had the same problem, not enough room for the handle.

Best oil filter tool ever made. Mine is made by Channelock and sells for about $25.
