Default 06' FLHX-I Aftermarket Wheel Questions

How's it going guys, I'm looking at putting aftermarket wheels on my 06 Street Glide... I'm running the stock suspension for now front and rear. I want to run a 21x3.5" front with 120/70/21 tire and most likely an 18x4.25" rear with 150/70/18 tire. I plan on running metzelers me880s...

I have read many threads about this 21/18 combo that alot of guys have done and are doing....But not many of you guys talk about the tire size you run in the rear... From what I've read the front end lifts up about 1 inch and the rear a half inch. is this accurate info? I have also read this wheel and tire size is bolt on with no mods to rear or front end to make it work.

Can I get some real world words from you guys or maybe pictures as well, letting me know what size wheels and tires you are running and your experiences. Or correct me if the info I have read is not accurate or incorrect in any way.

Thanks.

Mostly correct. May have to drill out the rear mounting holes on the front fender and lift up on the fender to clear the tire. Same sizes I ran on my 08 with no other mods.

Bike looks good DuraGlide, did you mess with your suspension at all? Do you have a picture of it from the side by chance?

Here is a side shot when the bike was totally stock. Rode it for a year like that. Bars are Wild1 577's
